The Wheel Turns – A Reflection on Community and Reiki Shares

The wheel turns, and I find myself reflecting on the year that has been.

Tuesday marked our final Reiki Share of 2025, and it was truly beautiful.

When I moved back to Cambridge four years ago, I went searching for my community — and I couldn’t find it. I felt suddenly very alone, much like I had at the beginning of my spiritual journey. In that moment, I realised that if I couldn’t find my community, I would create it. I knew my tribe was out there — we just needed a place to meet.

That feeling was also the seed that grew into the Mind, Body & Soul events.

In 2025, I moved the Reiki Share to the wonderfully magical village of Fulbourn, and I am so grateful to say that I have truly found my tribe. Connections have formed, friendships have grown, and a genuine sense of community now exists.

The joy I feel in knowing that the space I’ve created allows people like me to spend a few hours with like-minded souls is beyond words. A place where we can talk about all the “weird” things that make our hearts shine and our souls feel fed.

I am so excited for 2026 — for both new and familiar faces to join us for our monthly Reiki Shares. A place where everyone is welcome.

I am deeply grateful for the connections I’ve made, the healers who have supported the share, and for all the healing I have both received and given along the way.
